Karma and the Purpose of Life
Karma means action. Over each life we accrue both positive and more challenging consequences of our actions in terms of karma.
What goes around comes around.
Before the beginning of each life, our soul has decided what it needs to experience for this life. We relive similar situations or relationships or psychological or emotional situations in order to help us grow in wisdom. The purpose is to get rid of every negative emotion or belief so that we can discover ourselves in love, light and bliss as part of Creation.
In Vedic astrology this is known as Nirvana. This releases us from the cycle of reincarnation and we may go onto other realms.
Remedial Measures
From a Vedic astrology perspective, the purpose of life is to release or resolve all negative emotions and irrational or limiting beliefs. This is the most effective way of resolving karmic patterns and progressing spiritually.
Astrology can predict what is to come into your life and what you are creating, but unless it can also help you to raise awareness, make changes and guide your decisions for your highest good, then it is of little use to anyone.
Traditionally remedial measures in Vedic astrology have included meditation, mantras, gems and recommendations for charity or service, to alleviate difficult karmic influences. All of these things may indeed help.
However, as a Vedic astrologer that operates in the West, who is also a therapist, I am happy to recommend the latest effective, therapeutic techniques and methods for making changes that include help at all levels, physical, emotional, both the conscious and unconscious mind and generational energy patterns and those involving many past lives.
Traditional astrologers used the tools or methodologies they had at hand in their times and I am happy to use the best of the traditional and the latest psycho-therapeutic tools at hand now. Services provided with readings if required - mantras, gemstone recommendations, personal development, and meditation.
